Just like there is a reason (or many reasons) for everything that happens to us, there is a time for everything – you know, a season, if you will-
“And you would accept the seasons of your heart just as you have always accepted that seasons pass over your fields and you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief.” ~Kahlil Gibran
“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.” ~ Anne Bradstreet
And, a personal favorite…
“To be interested in the changing seasons is a happier state of mind than to be hopelessly in love with spring.”
~George Santayana
So, as much as I want to explain about the happenings in my life as of late, I think it is most important for me to tell you that the times are changing, in small and large ways, trivial and significant. As of last Friday I feel my story is this:
“It’s as if the only thing that changed at all is everything” ~Rhéa Kelly
There is no need to fill in all the details right now, I’m content with letting the story unfold much like life does: piece by piece and flowing in a positive direction.
Please just now that you – reading this right now – are taken care of… generations of life and light are all around you and it is impossible to be alone. I am, more than anything, grateful for the knowledge that I am surrounded, blanketed by light and that I am loved.
And so are you.
I can’t wait to continue the story of gratitude…
